What is it like to ride a 2Moto Radix®?
It is a matter of opinion, experience and snow conditions.
Some say it is like riding sand, others opine that the experience is like riding the street, others say it is just like riding your bike. Snowboaring, snow and waterskiing are often mentioned.
In fact, that are all right. The riding style depends on snow conditions and experience. Whatever your background, you will be able to relate.
There are only a few tips that are needed to get going, and do it fast.
First, you need to trust the front ski - it WILL NOT wash out.
The bike turns by geometry - What you say? This is where it is like riding the road. You lean the bike and give it power.
The RadiX is designed to carve turns like a ski. The more you lean it, the tighter it turns.
If the bike is not turning like you expect it should, and you feel like you are struggleing with the turns, you are not leaning it enough.
Are your hands tired? Don't hang on so tight, Let go of the bars and relax.
Turning on a Radix is a beautiful feeling of "flow". Make sure you are flowing.
You twist and turn through the trees, look for the gap just wider than your bars and blast away boondocking it, or you can open it up on the trail. And, I mean wide open. You lay it over, you swear you're dragging the bars (and your buddies confirm with photos). The ski holds tight, the track feels like you are on rails.
That is the 2Moto experience...
